Peer Educator Profiles

Ahsan, Alina  Hello! My name is Alina Ahsan (she/her), and I’m a senior at TCNJ. This is my first year as a PE, and I couldn’t be more excited. I am a Philosophy major pursuing minors in Spanish and Public Health. I spent a semester studying abroad in Alcalá de Henares, Spain in the spring of 2015. I’ve changed my major twice and switched one of my minors, so some would describe me as indecisive because I want to study everything! I am primarily interested in women’s sexual and reproductive health. I was an intern at Planned Parenthood my sophomore year where I also became more aware of domestic/dating violence and wanted to find a way to become more involved on campus! I love TCNJ, and I want to do my part to help everyone on campus feel safe and have the best experience possible.

I live in Campus Town, and I love to cook, which is much easier when you have a kitchen! I also love to read and travel; I’m constantly planning road trips with my friends. I love to meet new people and make new friends, so please say ‘hi’ if you see me around!
