April is nationally recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). During this month, AVI helps the TCNJ community to identify and de-escalate incidents of sexual assault. We also provide programming around healthy sexuality, gender socialization, how to identify and address rape culture, and ways to support survivors of sexual assault.
Stop by our programs or tables to pick up some AVI swag and wear teal throughout the month to show your support for SAAM. See below for a calendar of SAAM 2019.
Due to COVID-19, SAAM 2020 looked differently than typical programming months. Below are some examples of the education and programming we hosted on our social media pages in April. Scroll to the top of this page to find links to our social media platform in the menu bar.
